WORLD CUP 2007

What went wrong .........................???

I am not here to criticize the Indian team or the coach for their pathetic performance in the world cup but here I will comment on what really I observed in the three matches played by India .
India loosed first match just because of their over confidence that we could see during the game and due to not having proper planning , moreover the foolish decisions taken by the team led them to the shameful defeat. This defeat was just enough to make the crazy Indian cricket crowed exaggerate there regret and they started criticizing in their stupid way of vandalism. In the match with Barmuda team tried to make up and they really did to some extent and could manage to cool down the crowed . With this huge victory many thought that the defeat with the Bangla Desh was mere an accident. It really dawned the new hopes to be the world winner, and that win was truly deserving it .Then the day came when we encountered with Shri Lankan's . In this do or die scene Indian ballers played their role well , I mean it was up to the reputation of Indian team. But this feel good could not last for long time and in the next inning those combatant Shri Lankan ballers trapped all the Indian batting line. The way Vaas took the wicket of Ganguli showed the intelligent game of Lankan's and I must say, that's the thing which I could not find with the Indian's. No one was prepared to struggle to survive on the pitch, no one was ready to take up the challenge. Sehewag who scored highest of all was also not looking confident with his game .
This is a game , here your name , fame doesn't work but what works is your confidence , presence of mind , attitude towards the game and to have all these one needs to devotedly prepare putting his heart, mind, body and soul together. Did Indian's really prepared the way it is said ?... Nothing but their performance answers the question. It was also observed that till the last moment team was experimenting . None of the players was knowing their roles properly it seems and Mr chappel has to take the responsibility for this . Even the players like Master Blaster despite of his world records and ample experience was not looking comfortable. It clearly indicates that they are able to do but were not prepared to do . Here I appreciate the efforts of Dada but there was also a different reason behind his efforts which we all know well . Now how and who can make these Indian players to play to their full ability? If I am asked to answer this question then I will say ...
First of all, put some restrictions on their participation in different adds. BCCI must make some rules that will restrict cricketer's corporate life and confine them only to the play-ground well before a month and half any series begins . This will really make them concentrate on the game with their heart, mind, body and soul together. As far as coach is concerned, I say none other than those great Indian cricket icons like Kapil Deo, Sunil Gaoskar deserve for it. Because they know the psychology of Indian players well than any foreigner and hence are sure to prove more effective. In addition they being Indian will have an extra moral responsibility to make the India a winning team. As far as the issue of partiality in selection of players suspected to be done by native coaches is concerned, that can be very well addressed by the management I think. Here is an earnest appeal to all Indian cricket fans, please change the way of showing regret against the team or any individual player for their unexpected or bad performance. If someone attacks their houses or burns their posters then they are sure to loose their concentration and patience too which naturally will affect their performance more adversely. More over the media is also found guilty in a way or other for the same and need to stop exaggerating the scenes.
Keeping all this in mind and remembering the lesson from the history let us start to make an India a Winning Team ............!

Time to introspect..

This is in connection with the news " Amitabh in race for Rashtrapati Bhavan " at http://samachar.com/latest/7day/mon.html published on 12Th Feb.. 2007.
I really fainted at the first encounter with the news and then thought, it's a time of great introspection which should necessarily be done by every Indian citizen as well. Because now a days people are running behind the fame, they are not at all bothered about the person's background, eligibility necessary for a particular post (specially in politics). As for as this news is concerned, I don't think Big B is a right candidate for this post in any angle. Undoubtedly he is a great actor and I am also one of from the crowed of his fans. But I want the first person of my nation must ..
1. have devotedly worked for the nation in his past and must have the detailed knowledge of the Constitution so that to know the importance of the position, to realize the responsibilities and limitations, to have a faith in the system of which he is a part.
2. have such a past and character that will inspire the youth to work for the nation and should arouse the patriotism in them.
3. have great leadership qualities to motivate the nation.
But Amithabh Bachhan is a great actor who has been busy in his filmy world through out his life. Here it is worth noting that he worked for himself and not for the nation directly. By looking at him patriotism never dawns in me and so I think he is not a right candidate.
Even Big B has always said no to the politics even if he could have entered it very easily. Really it is appreciable and reflects his greatness. But these are few selfish politicians who are entertaining such damn ideas, and we blind citizens go behind them without giving any thought to there decisions which portrays the blind democracy. This must stop somewhere and hence I think it is time for introspection for we all Indians.. isn't it?

If you wish.....

Hi Friends,
there is no doubt that we all want India to become a "Super Power" by the year 2020 .
For this goal to be achieved in this limited period will have to focus especially on the science and
technology, will have to conquer all the fields of the science and technology. At the same time
strengthening the defence i.e. all the forces, weapons is also of equal importance. Our nation is
identified all over the world for our unity in diversity, but we know the reality. Still the big percentage of the population is bellow poverty level and much is illiterate. These barriers need to be eradicated.
To fight with all these we want a great and inspiring leadership in the coming years. But one of such leaders is going to finish his tenure by July 2007. Many of you might be aware that, our honorable president's tenure ends by 2007 and he had been informed not to continue. A person who devotedly worked for the up gradation of Indian science and technology, who is a father of Indian missile program, who is one of the gems of India, who has conquered the millions of hearts as a president with his global vision and activeness and he being the real inspiration of we youth, many of we youngsters think that at present only he is the right person to lead the nation as a president for next five years. In connection with the same some youngsters set a site (http://www.petitiononline.com/apj/) requesting Indian Government to increase his period for next five years.
With this I request you all that, If you are also willing Dr.APJ to continue as a president for next five years to have a real inspiring leadership for
making our dream to become "A Super Power" come true then sign the petition, enter your help on the sight and also inform as many people u can regarding the same. Also don't forget to add your comments.
. .. . .. . .. . .. . . Hey friends, now this petition has become the worlds largest online petition with more than one lack signatures. Forward this link to all your friends to make the new record of the online petition and also to show the power of the world's largest democracy..
